Moham Bio Unveils Plans for Kwara Governorship Bid 2027

Hon. Moham Bio, a governorship aspirant for Kwara State in the 2027 elections, revealed his plans on Thursday, focusing on a state development program aimed at ensuring even infrastructural development across the three senatorial districts of Kwara State.

He pledged to implement a community-based budget system that allows grassroots input, contrasting it with the current conventional budget system. Bio, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighted three main priorities that he believes have not been addressed by previous administrations since 1999: security, energy, and agriculture, alongside education.

He also committed to reviving old teacher training colleges and technical colleges in the state to provide job opportunities for the youth. The event was attended by notable figures including Senator Ahmadu from Kwara North and Chief Jame Ayeni from Kwara South, who expressed support for Bio's candidacy for the APC governorship ticket in the 2027 general elections.
