Akinseye Calls for Accountable Leadership in Ogun State

Hon. Segun Akinseye, serving as the Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader, has called for a new leadership direction in Ogun State in anticipation of the 2027 elections. He emphasized the necessity for leaders who will listen to the residents, develop clear policies, and implement government plans that yield tangible benefits for citizens.

Akinseye identified critical areas requiring attention, including road infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth development, and support for small businesses. He stressed that both the executive and legislative branches must work collaboratively to ensure effective governance and accountability.

Akinseye urged lawmakers to actively represent their constituents and scrutinize public expenditures. He also encouraged citizens, particularly the youth, to evaluate the qualifications and track records of politicians seeking their votes in the upcoming elections.

Akinseye concluded by asserting that the development of Ogun State should be a collective responsibility, transcending political and ethnic divides.
