Jimoh Ojugbel Wins Ogun West APC Senatorial Ticket

Jimoh Ojugbel, a former three-term member of the House of Representatives, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial ticket for Ogun West ahead of the 2027 general elections. He emerged victorious in the party's primary election, receiving 85,552 votes and defeating three other aspirants.

The results were announced by Dr. Dapo Odukoya, who disclosed that a total of 86,811 voters were accredited for the election.

Ojugbel commended the peaceful conduct of the primary, describing it as free and fair, with no crises reported across the district. He expressed gratitude for the smooth electoral process and emphasized the commitment to unity among APC members in Ogun West.

Ojugbel, known for his track record in constituency projects, particularly in Ado Odo Ota, acknowledged the impact of the current senator, Adeola Olamilekan, and pledged to build upon the achievements made during his tenure.
