Agabi Declares Candidacy for Nasarawa Assembly Seat

Mailafiya Yakubu Agabi, a former Assistant Commissioner of Police, has announced his intention to run for the Nasarawa State House of Assembly seat representing Obi Constituency. This decision follows a call from local youth and community leaders, who gathered in large numbers at the Emir's palace in Daddar, Obi Local Government Area, to express their support.

Agabi emphasized his experience and track record in public service as qualifications for the role, urging the youth to engage peacefully in the political process. He appealed for support without resorting to physical confrontations and highlighted the importance of maintaining peace during the elections.

Agabi reassured the traditional rulers of his commitment to serving the community beyond political ambitions, stating that his dedication to human welfare transcends political life. The event was organized by the Daddar Progress Mind Youth, with comrade Aminu Musa Relwanu reiterating calls for Agabi to run after extensive consultations across the constituency.
