Igbos Regret 2023 Vote, Shift Support to APC - Agbakahi

Georg Agbakahi, a coordinator for Bola Tinubu's support group, expressed that the Igbo people made a significant mistake in their voting pattern during the 2023 general elections. Speaking on a morning show on Arise Television, Agbakahi noted a shift in political alignment towards the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South East.

He highlighted the growing number of residents in the region who now prefer the APC as their political platform, citing increased interest and participation in party activities. He referenced a recent APC zonal congress held in Enugu, which saw significant attendance from both party stakeholders and non-members, reflecting a rise in enthusiasm for the party in the region.

Agbakahi commended President Bola Tinubu for his developmental strides, particularly in infrastructure and industrialization across Nigeria, especially in the South East. He mentioned the support from governors like Charles Soludo of Anambra and Otti of Abia, who have publicly acknowledged the positive impact of Tinubu's policies.
