Agbakahi: Southeast's 2023 Election Mistake Acknowledged

Georg Agbakahi, who coordinates a support group for President Bola Tinubu, expressed that the Southeast region made a "huge mistake" in its voting pattern during the 2023 general elections. Speaking on a morning show program on Arise Television, Agbakahi highlighted the necessity for a shift in political alignment within the region.

He referenced the recent APC zonal congress held in Enugu, which saw attendance from party stakeholders and non-members, indicating a growing enthusiasm for the party in the Southeast. Agbakahi commended President Tinubu for his significant developmental strides, particularly in infrastructure and industrialization across Nigeria, with a special focus on the Southeast.

He believes that these developments could positively influence the region's political landscape moving forward.
