Makinde Appoints Felix Hyat as Campaign DG for 2027

On September 30, 2026, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State announced the appointment of Felix Hassan Hyat as the Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee for the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation. This announcement was made through a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Mr. Anthony Ehilebo.

Hyat, a former Minister of State for Aviation and the former Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, will lead efforts to promote the party's "Reset Nigeria" message and mobilize support for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 presidential election. Alongside Hyat, Hajia Inna Ciroma was appointed as Deputy Director-General, Administration, and Hon. Dr Anthony Aziegbemi as Deputy Director-General, Operations.

The campaign leadership will collaborate with APM National Leader Senator Bala Mohammed and National Chairman Yusuf Mamman Dantalle. Additional appointments include various directors overseeing specific campaign functions, with further appointments to be announced later.
