ADC Accuses INEC of Collusion with APC in Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised concerns regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), accusing it of aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a manner that undermines opposition parties. During an interview on Saturday, Abdullahi, a representative of ADC, questioned why INEC and APC appear to be "singing from the same hymn book," suggesting that this collaboration negatively impacts the electoral process for opposition parties.

Abdullahi defended ADC's decision to appoint representatives in diaspora countries, asserting that this move is a legitimate political strategy aimed at engaging Nigerians abroad and strengthening party coordination. He dismissed criticisms of the party's activities as politically motivated attacks.

Abdullahi reiterated ADC's commitment to following constitutional and legal processes, including proper notification to INEC regarding congress conventions, in accordance with electoral laws. He rejected any warnings suggesting that the party might face consequences for its internal processes, emphasizing adherence to due process in political governance.
