Adeleke Demands Timely Completion of Flyover Project

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has issued a warning to the contractor, Messr Sammya Nigeria Limited, responsible for the Lager Flyover Road dualization project, demanding adherence to the April deadline. The governor, accompanied by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi and Special Duties Commissioner Bashiru Salami, expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work, stating that it is "totally unacceptable" and that no further delays will be tolerated.

The project, which has a total cost of N14.9 billion, is scheduled for completion within 12 months. Adeleke emphasized the importance of timely completion for the benefit of the local community in Ife and reiterated his commitment to improving infrastructure across the state.

He also flagged off the rehabilitation of several local government roads, assuring residents of ongoing efforts to enhance development. The governor received commendations from local leaders, including Oba Joseph Toriola, for his attention to the town's development needs.
