Scholars Urged to Educate Pilgrims on Hajj Deadlines

During a meeting with the Sokoto State Hajj Ulama Committee in Sokoto, Malam Aliyu Musa, the agency’s chairman, urged scholars to educate intending pilgrims about the importance of completing their registration and payment processes for Hajj promptly. He recommended using Friday sermons, Islamic lectures, and other religious gatherings for this purpose.

Musa also called on pilgrims who have made payments to submit their valid international passports to the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency without delay, highlighting that timely submission of required documents is crucial for successful Hajj preparations. Alhaji Ibrahim Umar, the agency’s Permanent Secretary, recognized the Ulama Committee as a vital partner in Hajj administration.

Alhaji Abubakar Attahiru, the committee’s chairman, assured the agency of their continued support and cooperation. The meeting was attended by all directors of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.
