Amotekun Corps Arrests 10 Suspected Criminals in Ondo

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, arrested 10 suspected criminals across various locations in Ondo State. Among the suspects, two were allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a woman and her two children in the Osi/Isinigbo area of Akure North Local Government Area.

The state commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, reported that the arrests were facilitated by assistance from members of the Fulani community. The suspects include Gambo (27) and Murtala (19), who were apprehended while negotiating a ransom and in possession of a locally made firearm.

Other suspects were involved in motorcycle theft and burglary, with one, Mustafa, specializing in stealing motorcycles and burglarizing churches and mosques. The Amotekun Corps aims to enhance security and ensure residents can conduct their daily activities without fear.
