Anambra Agency Arrests Fake Revenue Agents in Onitsha for Illegal Collection

Anambra Internal Revenue Service arrested four suspects in Onitsha for illegally collecting revenue, including from keke riders. The suspects were identified as Ikenna Udoji, Kosi Iwobi, Chidera Ogbogu, and Mondai.

They were charged to court for contravening Anambra State laws banning illegal revenue collection. The arrests are part of a crackdown on notorious illegal revenue collectors across Anambra State, following Governor Chukwuma Soludo's directive to end such practices.

Mondai Nwokoy, the Managing Director of the Special Anti-Tout Squad, confirmed the arrests and emphasized the cessation of illegal cash collection in the state.
