APC Members Celebrate Adegoke, Taofeek's Ticket Wins

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo celebrated the successful clinching of party tickets by Kunle Adegoke and Ibrahim Taofeek for the Senate and House of Representatives, respectively, during the primaries held on a Tuesday. The jubilant crowd thronged major roads, starting from Osogbo Township Stadium at Freedom Park and proceeding via Old Garage Terminus.

This event marked a significant moment as it was the first time indigenes of Osogbo would emerge as candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives. The jubilant rally was led by former Commissioner for Environment, Sola Oladepo, who expressed gratitude for the transparent and fair primary process.

The APC members emphasized their commitment to ensuring victory in the upcoming elections scheduled for August 15, 2026, and the 2027 general elections. The event underscored the party's determination to consolidate its strength in the region.
