Nwoko to Challenge APC Primary Results in Court

Ned Nwoko, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed to challenge the results of the party's senatorial primary in court. In an interview, Nwoko insisted that he won the primary based on evidence he allegedly gathered from ward-level results.

He rejected the declaration of former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the winner, asserting that the results announced did not reflect the actual votes cast during the exercise. Nwoko claimed that APC officials had ordered that no results be announced at the ward level, and he was surprised to see a new declaration on video from Ika North East.

He expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu would intervene in the matter, stating, "I will go to court.".
