APC Warns Against Altering Primary Election Results

Alhaji Kored Quadri, a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), warned against any attempts to alter the results of the party's recent primary elections. He urged the APC leadership to ensure that candidates emerging from the primaries are those who have legitimately won, as this is crucial for maintaining the party's integrity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Quadri commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC National Chairman Professor Nentaw Yilwatda for overseeing a transparent and credible primary process. He expressed concerns over reports suggesting efforts to replace duly elected candidates with those who lost, which could undermine the democratic process and create disputes.

Quadri cautioned that any manipulation of primary outcomes in favor of unsuccessful aspirants would erode confidence in the party's leadership and the electoral process.
