Nigerian Army Denies Attack on Bishop Kukah's Residence

The Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for the 8 Division described these claims as false and unfounded.

The Army emphasized that the situation in Sokoto is stable and that adequate security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of residents and the bishop during the Easter celebrations. The Army reassured the public that Bishop Kukah is currently carrying out his Easter activities without any disruption and that they are collaborating with other security agencies to maintain peace and safety in the state.
