ADC Chairman Urges Candidates to Avoid Hate Speech

On Monday, during a consultation meeting at the ADC headquarters in Abuja, Senator David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), advised the party's governorship candidates to refrain from making empty promises and engaging in hate speech as they prepare for the 2027 general elections. Mark, a former Senate President, stressed that such actions could undermine the party's integrity.

He encouraged candidates to align their campaigns with the values of the ADC and to avoid any form of violence, contrasting the ADC's approach with that of the ruling party. He urged candidates to familiarize themselves with the party's Governance and Ethical Principles outlined in the 'Orange Book' and its manifesto.

The candidates expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contest and pledged loyalty to the party, highlighting a commitment to addressing the cost of living, particularly through the reinstatement of fuel subsidies.
