Nigeria Football Federation Forms Interim Committee for Beach Soccer

The Nigeria Football Federation constituted an interim committee to manage beach soccer and futsal leagues in Nigeria. This decision was made during an executive committee meeting held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Asaba, Delta State.

The interim board is chaired by Mr. Mahmud Hadejia, with other members including Mr.

Dele Gbajumo, Hon. Nkopuy Ukp, Mr.

Abdul Nasir Adamu Senchi, Prof. Victor Madubuiko, Alhaji Moham Bukar Alau, and Miss Onome Ebi.

Mr. Saraki Rashe Oladimeji will serve as the Chief Executive Officer, while the Chief Operating Officer and General Secretary will be appointed later.

The committee expressed gratitude to the federal government for the special intervention fund aimed at enhancing the profile and commercial value of the Nigeria Premier Football League and called for similar support for the Nigeria Women Football League and the Nigeria National League.
