Shettima Visits Maiduguri Bomb Blast Victims at UMTH

On a visit to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Vice President Kashim Shettima and Hajiya Zubaida Umar, the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), expressed their condolences to the victims of multiple bomb explosions in Maiduguri. The attacks, attributed to Boko Haram, occurred on a Monday and resulted in the deaths of 23 individuals, with hundreds more injured.

During their visit, Shettima addressed journalists, offering sympathies on behalf of the Borno State government and the people of the northeast, particularly to families who lost loved ones in the triple suicide attack near the main entrance of UMTH. He prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
