Former Kebbi APC Chairman Dies in Bandits' Custody

Alhaji Muhammadu Mai Barga Bess, the former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Koko Bess Local Government Area, reportedly died in the custody of bandits after spending two months in captivity. His abduction, alongside close associates during an attack by armed men suspected to be bandits, has intensified concerns regarding the deteriorating security situation in Kebbi State and northern Nigeria.

Reports indicate that during his captivity, Mai Barga Bess faced severe health challenges, exacerbated by harsh conditions and lack of food. Disturbing videos surfaced online showing him in a weakened state, pleading for urgent help from family members and political associates.
