Nine Killed in Terrorist Attack in Kaduna Community

A fresh attack by suspected terrorists in Unguwar Magaji, Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna, resulted in the deaths of at least nine individuals and injuries to eleven others. The incident occurred late Tuesday, as confirmed by Joseph Yonkpa, spokesperson for the Irigw Youth Movement.

Initial reports did not provide a complete casualty count, but subsequent search and recovery operations revealed seven additional bodies, raising the total death toll to nine. The attack was characterized by the use of firearms and machetes, targeting children and leaving the residents in deep trauma.

The victims identified include Jerri Doctor, Danlami Magani, Sundai Chibi, Rita Abdullahi, Sundai Elkan, Esther Kefa, Happi Fridai, Mose Daddi, Daddi Ibrahim, and others who sustained injuries. The incident highlights ongoing security challenges in the region.
