Atiku Aide Critiques Tinubu's Economic Policies

Demola Olarenwaju, a special assistant on digital media strategy to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, launched a critique against President Bola Tinubu's administration, asserting that it has exacerbated economic challenges and increased poverty levels in Nigeria. During an appearance on Vanguard's Polit Hub, Olarenwaju described Tinubu's government as a "360-degree failure," arguing that it has worsened the cost of living and changed Nigerians' perceptions of previous administrations.

He claimed that Tinubu's administration has made Nigeria poorer, stating that the rising prices of basic commodities and transportation have placed heavy pressure on ordinary Nigerians. Olarenwaju noted that the current economic situation has led citizens to compare Tinubu's governance unfavorably with that of former President Muhammadu Buhari, highlighting that the cost of petrol has surged significantly under Tinubu, making it a major burden for households across the country.
