Tinubu's Leadership Criticized for Rising Poverty Levels

Demola Olarenwaju, a special assistant for digital media strategy to Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress, stated in an interview with Vanguard's political hub that President Bola Tinubu's administration has significantly increased poverty in Nigeria. Olarenwaju asserted that Tinubu's governance has made the economic situation worse, causing former President Muhammadu Buhari to seem like a saint in comparison.

He characterized Tinubu's administration as a "360-degree failure" across multiple sectors. Olarenwaju specifically mentioned the rising costs of essential goods, highlighting that the price of petroleum has nearly increased tenfold under Tinubu's leadership, which he claims is not beneficial for the Nigerian populace.
