Champions League Draw: Arsenal, Man City, and Villa Opponents

The draw for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase has been finalized, revealing the opponents for five Premier League clubs. Arsenal, who were runners-up last season after losing to Paris St-Germain on penalties, will host Real Madrid at the Emirates Stadium and travel to Bayern Munich.

Their group also includes Borussia Dortmund, Real Betis, Lille, Napoli, Azerbaijani champions Sabah, and Slavia Prague. Manchester City will face defending champions PSG at the Etihad Stadium and will also travel to Barcelona to meet Rodri, who transferred to the Nou Camp for £65 million.

City’s other opponents include Sporting, Porto, RB Leipzig, AEK Athens, and Lens. Aston Villa, returning to the Champions League after a season away, will host PSG and Borussia Dortmund while traveling to Barcelona and Galatasaray.

The league phase consists of each of the 36 clubs playing eight different opponents, with the top eight advancing to the last 16. The opening fixtures are set for September 8, 2026, and the final will take place in Madrid on June 5, 2027.
