Chief of Army Staff Visits Borno to Boost Troop Morale

On Friday, the Chief of Army Staff, Shaibu, visited Borno to enhance troop morale after the recent death of a Brigadier General and several soldiers due to an attack. This visit was part of ongoing operations to assess the security situation in the northeast region.

Shaibu received the Yobe State Governor, Muhammadu Buhari, at the Damaturu airport during his visit. The Chief of Army Staff emphasized the Nigerian Army's commitment to confronting security threats and acknowledged the recent military attacks.

He urged troops to remain aggressive in their efforts to combat terrorism and to honor their fallen colleagues. Shaibu interacted with the troops and charged them to sustain their fight against insurgents, reinforcing the military's strategy to adapt to evolving challenges in the region.
