Former Minister Dalung Criticizes Malami's Arraignment, Calls for Terrorism Financiers' Prosecution

Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, criticized the ongoing trial of former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, demanding the prosecution of alleged terrorism financiers. Dalung questioned the level of charges against Malami and criticized the failure to prosecute individuals involved in terror financing.

He specifically mentioned the alleged involvement of former President Muhammadu Buhari's aide, General Tchiani of Chad. Dalung also raised concerns about the inclusion of Malami's son, Abdulaziz, as a co-defendant in the case.

Malami's son was docked by the Department of State Services (DSS) on five counts related to terrorism financing and illegal possession of firearms.
