Matawalle Mobilizes Zamfara Officials for Tinubu's Security Agenda

On Saturday, Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, convened a meeting in Kaduna with former political office holders from Zamfara State, including ex-members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly and former commissioners. The meeting aimed to rally support for President Bola Tinubu’s initiatives to combat banditry and enhance security across Nigeria.

Matawalle emphasized that the protection of lives and property is a fundamental responsibility of any serious government, asserting that the APC-led administration under President Tinubu is committed to addressing insecurity. He called on attendees to disseminate information about the government's security efforts within their communities and to mobilize support for the Tinubu Again Movement in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.

Matawalle also encouraged unity among his supporters to achieve their political objectives. The meeting concluded with leaders praising Matawalle for maintaining a robust political structure since his tenure as governor from 2019 to 2023.
