New Delta Police Commissioner Unveils Security Agenda

Samuel Etaifo Erale has been deployed as the 25th Commissioner of Police in Delta State, expressing gratitude to God and appreciation to Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu for the opportunity. During a briefing at the police headquarters in Asaba, Erale emphasized his commitment to prioritizing the safety of residents and visitors.

He outlined his policing agenda, which includes intelligence-led crime fighting, community collaboration, and a disciplined approach to policing. Erale acknowledged Delta State's strategic economic position and the accompanying security challenges, pledging to implement a community-oriented policing strategy.

He aims to strengthen partnerships with traditional rulers, community leaders, and other stakeholders while promoting professionalism and human rights within the police force. His administration will focus on preventing crimes, enhancing community intelligence gathering, and improving collaboration with other security agencies.

Erale also committed to recognizing officers who demonstrate integrity and dedication to their duties.
