Kwara Youth Disrupt Empowerment Program, Snatch Rice Bags

During an empowerment program organized by philanthropist Adejok Adeyemi in Onigbin, Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, a group of youth and women caused a disturbance by snatching bags of rice meant for distribution to beneficiaries. The event, which took place over the weekend, was designed to empower 1,500 registered members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeyemi distributed various empowerment tools, including 10 cars, 10 Bajaj motorcycles, 10 chest freezers, 20 grinding machines, 10 hairstyling dryers, four makeup tools, 10 generators, and 30 sewing machines. Adeyemi expressed her intention to alleviate the economic hardships faced by the community and emphasized the importance of stable income sources.

She noted that the empowerment initiative was a divine gesture aimed at providing support to fellow APC members, who expressed gratitude for the assistance received.
