Driver Kills Delta Bishop, Flees with Stolen SUV

A driver, whose identity has not been disclosed due to ongoing investigations, allegedly murdered a bishop from the Pentecost Bishop End Reconciliation Ministry in Asaba, Delta State. Following the crime, the suspect fled to Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, with the victim's stolen Toyota Prado Jeep.

The Anambra State Police Command, led by CP Ikoy Orutugu, disclosed during a press briefing that the suspect was apprehended while attempting to sell the stolen vehicle. Preliminary investigations indicated that the driver was a domestic staff member of the bishop and had conspired with unidentified criminal elements to commit the murder.

The police operation was successful due to credible information that enabled them to track and intercept the suspect. The stolen vehicle has been recovered and is now in police custody.

The investigation is ongoing, and the public has been advised to exercise caution when hiring domestic staff.
