Governor Bago Warns Against Violence During Eid Celebrations

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Niger State Governor Moham Umaru Bago delivered a strong warning to individuals engaging in violent acts, stating that security agencies will respond decisively to any threats to peace. This warning was made during a prayer gathering in Suleja, where thousands of Muslims observed the end of Ramadan.

Governor Bago stressed that his administration will not tolerate actions capable of disrupting the peace and security of the state. He called on the Muslim community to remain law-abiding and to uphold values of tolerance, love, and mutual respect, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.

The Eid prayer was led by Malam Abdullahi Kasim, with the Emir of Suleja, Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim, in attendance. The Emir praised the governor and urged residents to continue promoting peace and unity for the development of the state and the country.
