FAAN Launches Cashless Payment System at Abuja Airport

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has introduced a cashless payment system at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to enhance revenue collection and passenger experience. The Managing Director, Mrs.

Olubunmi Kuku, announced the implementation of a single wallet payment system to eliminate revenue leakages and improve transparency. This initiative aims to modernize airport operations by phasing out physical cash transactions at various revenue points, including access gates, car parks, and VIP lounges.

The move towards a cashless payment system is part of FAAN's commitment to efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
