FCT Police Deny Claims of Kidney Sales in Nyanya

The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has officially dismissed claims circulating on social media regarding the alleged sale of kidneys by youths in the Nyanya area of Abuja. On Wednesday, SP Josephine Adeh, the Command Public Relations Officer, issued a statement clarifying that the command had neither received nor confirmed any reports related to such activities.

The rumors suggested that young people in Nyanya were selling their kidneys for money and that an agent in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, was involved in purchasing these organs. Adeh emphasized that no communication or statement confirming these allegations had come from the command.

She urged the public to disregard these publications and to avoid spreading unverified information that could lead to unnecessary fear and panic among residents.
