Nigeria U-20 Team Aims for Victory Against Burkina Faso

Nigeria's Under-20 team, under the guidance of coach Abdu Maikaba, is preparing to face Burkina Faso in the final of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship on Sunday in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast. Defender Musa Wahab stated that the team is well-prepared after their semi-final victory against Ivory Coast, which ended in a 2-2 draw and was decided by penalties, with Nigeria winning 4-3.

This final presents an opportunity for Nigeria to avenge their earlier group-stage defeat to Burkina Faso, who won that encounter 2-0. The match will also determine the second team from the WAFU B zone to qualify for the Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations finals alongside hosts Ghana.

Maikaba expressed confidence in his team's ability to capitalize on Burkina Faso's weaknesses, having previously faced them. The final will take place at Stade Charles Konan Banny, kicking off at 7 PM.
