FG Inaugurates WAGL’s 40,000 CBM LPG Vessel in South Korea

The Federal Government of Nigeria inaugurated the 40,000 Cubic Meters (CBM) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) vessel named MT Iyaloja Lagos in Ulsan, South Korea. The vessel is owned by WAGL Energy Limited, a joint venture between NNPC and Sahara Group, and is part of the government's plan to provide clean and sustainable energy solutions across Africa.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Bola Tinubu, represented by Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Gas Ekperikpe Ekpo, who commended WAGL for its strategic foresight and dedication to expanding Africa's role in global clean energy. The vessel is crucial for Nigeria's economic development and will help in deepening the commitment to ensure LPG affordability and availability nationwide.
