INEC Lists David Mark and Aregbesola After Supreme Court Ruling

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has updated its website to include the names of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, following a Supreme Court judgment that reinstated Mark's leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This action comes after the court ordered the removal of Mark's name from the electoral body’s portal, which had been executed in April.

The commission emphasized that it had not received any further communication regarding the party's affairs and would not monitor meetings or conventions on behalf of the ADC until the matter is resolved in the Federal High Court in Abuja. INEC reiterated its commitment to ensuring that it does not create a fait accompli that could undermine the ongoing trial in court.
