Four Dead, Ten Injured in Osun Road Crash

On Thursday evening, a tragic road accident occurred along the Ilesa-Akure Expressway at Omi Asoro Junction in Osun State, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to ten others. The Federal Road Safety Corps, represented by Agn Ogungbemi, confirmed the incident, which took place around 9 PM.

The crash involved a Toyota bus heading towards Akure and a mini bus that was identified as carrying phone accessories and electronic appliances. Initial reports indicated that three passengers died at the scene, while one more succumbed to injuries later.

The deceased included two male adults and a female child. The injured comprised seven adults and three children, all of whom were taken to Wesley Guild Hospital in Ilesa for treatment.

Additionally, Ogungbemi noted that the driver of the mini bus did not possess a valid driver's license. This incident follows another crash on Thursday in Ogun State, where five people were burnt to death.
