FRSC Recovers Stolen Vehicle, Hands Over to Police

On August 23, 2026, at approximately 3 am, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) recovered a stolen white pick-up vehicle with registration number YAB 677 XD in the Federal Capital Territory, specifically along the expressway leading to Berger in the Wuye axis of Abuja. The recovery was executed by the Tow Truck Team of the RS7.1 FCT Sector Command.

In a statement signed by the Corps Public Education Officer, Osondu Ohaeri, the FRSC highlighted the effectiveness of its operational intelligence and prompt-response mechanisms in addressing public security concerns. The vehicle's original documents were found inside, which allowed personnel to trace and contact the purported owner.

Following this, arrangements were made for the vehicle's transfer to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation. The handover was conducted by DCC Sabitu Abdu, Deputy Corps Commander (Operations), to CSP Nuhu Usman, representing the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command.
