Presidency Urges Ndume to Share Intelligence on Terrorism

The Nigerian presidency has responded to Senator Ali Ndume's warnings regarding the threat of terrorist attacks in North East Nigeria, particularly in Borno State. Ndume expressed concerns that the entire region could be overtaken by terrorists due to inadequate military equipment.

In a statement made on Tuesday, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, urged Ndume to provide military intelligence about the alleged plans for terrorist attacks rather than raising public alarm. Onanuga highlighted the ongoing efforts of the military and the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) in operations aimed at safeguarding the North East region.
