Alia Commends DSS for Arresting Ayilamo Attack Suspects

Governor Hyacinth Alia commended the Department of State Services (DSS) for their prompt and professional operation that led to the arrest of three suspects connected to the attack on Ayilamo community in Logo Local Government Area, which occurred on a Thursday. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives, including four police officers.

In a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia denounced the attack as a "despicable" act against the peace-loving people of Ayilamo and a serious threat to the security of Benue State. He extended condolences to the victims' families and called for a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend all accomplices involved.

The governor assured that his administration would continue to collaborate with security agencies to enhance security in vulnerable communities and urged residents to remain calm and vigilant.
