Gunmen Attack TCN Offa Substation, Hold Workers Hostage
On May 7, 2026, at approximately 12:45 AM, heavily armed men invaded the Transmission Company of Nigeria's (TCN) Offa 132kV substation in Kwara State. The assailants took workers hostage at gunpoint and compelled them to shut down critical feeder supplies to the electricity station.
