Kano Pilgrims Board Sets Passport Deadline for Hajj 2027

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that all registered intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj must submit their valid international passports by August 7. This directive was issued by the Director-General of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, in a statement signed by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Dederi, on a Tuesday in Kano.

The submission process began on August 3 to allow the board to initiate the necessary documentation and administrative processes for the upcoming Hajj exercise. Ibrahim-Matawalle emphasized the importance of early passport submission to ensure timely processing of travel documents and adherence to deadlines set by relevant authorities.

He urged all registered intending pilgrims to comply with the deadline to avoid delays and reaffirmed the board’s commitment to a smooth Hajj operation, appealing for cooperation from the pilgrims throughout the preparation process.
