Hask Condemns Hong Killings, Calls for Enhanced Security

Abdulrahman Bashir Hask, a gubernatorial aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, condemned the brutal and senseless killings of innocent residents in the Mayoladd community of Hong Local Government Area, which occurred on Tuesday and were attributed to Boko Haram insurgents. Hask expressed profound sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and the affected community.

He highlighted the ongoing violence in rural border communities in Northeast Nigeria, emphasizing the need for urgent strengthening of security efforts and better coordination among security agencies, including the Nigerian Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. Hask called for immediate humanitarian support for the families of the victims and stressed that the protection of lives in rural communities should be a non-negotiable priority for the government.

Additionally, he announced plans to unveil a comprehensive development blueprint titled "D M W First Agenda" as part of his formal declaration to contest the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election.
