Blast at Maiduguri Hospital Kills Four Children

On the last Monday, a blast occurred at the entrance gate of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), leading to the deaths of four children aged between 11 and 14. Prof.

Ahm Ahidjo, the chief medical director of the hospital, reported that nearly 70 individuals were injured, including 25 children. The incident took place in Goni, where the children typically gathered to collect free Ramadan food.

The explosion was described as deafening, and the children's absence was noted when they did not return home by midnight. Concerned, their uncle rushed to the hospital, only to find their bodies.

The uncle expressed deep sorrow, stating that he could not sleep that night and emphasized the need to accept the tragedy as part of God's will. The incident has left a significant emotional impact on the families affected.
