PDP Launches 2027 Campaign in Ogun with Huge Turnout

On Wednesday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially launched its campaign for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections in Ogun Central Senatorial District, attracting thousands of residents and party supporters. The campaign commenced at Agbado Station in the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, where PDP governorship candidate Ladi Adebutu, his running mate Alhaja Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, and senatorial candidate Prof. Iyabo Obasanjo were warmly welcomed.

The campaign continued in Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South Federal Constituencies, where candidates Dele Olaleye and Toyin Amuzu also received enthusiastic support. During the rally at Ake Pavilion, Adebutu urged residents to vote for a "tested and trusted candidate" in Obasanjo, emphasizing the need to reject the current APC government.

He called for mass voter turnout in 2027 to combat misgovernance. Obasanjo reflected on her previous contributions as a representative and Commissioner for Health, reinforcing her commitment to the district.
