PDP Launches Campaigns for 2027 Elections in Ogun Central

On Wednesday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially launched its campaigns for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections in Ogun Central Senatorial District. The event attracted thousands of supporters and residents, beginning in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, where Hon. Ladi Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate, and his running mate, Hajiya Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, were welcomed.

The campaign continued through Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South Federal Constituencies, where Arch. Dele Olaleye and Hon. Toyin Amuzu are the party's House of Representatives candidates, respectively.

Adebutu urged supporters to vote for Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, emphasizing her proven track record. He called for mass participation in the elections scheduled for January 16, 2027, and encouraged voters to protect their votes.

Senator Obasanjo highlighted her past projects and promised to enhance the benefits of democracy for residents if re-elected. Supporters expressed their commitment to voting for the PDP candidates.
