Ideato Rep Ugochinyere Secures N220m Scholarships for Youth

Three beneficiaries from Ideato Federal Constituency have been awarded fully funded postgraduate scholarships valued at over ₦220 million through the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). The scholarships were facilitated by Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the representative for Ideato North and South Federal Constituency of Imo State.
The recipients, Mmesoma Precious Ajih, Agozirim Sylvester Mbonu, and Obika Miriam Ifeoma, will study at Coventry University, the University of Dundee, and the University of Birmingham, respectively. Their studies will commence after they complete their visa processes in September.
The scholarships cover tuition, accommodation, transportation, and other educational expenses. Ugochinyere, who chairs the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), commended Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of PAP, for his commitment to human-capital development.
He also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Government for their support of the programme, emphasizing its role in developing future Nigerian professionals. Ugochinyere plans to pursue additional scholarships and empowerment programs for his constituents.
