Ndume Critiques Tinubu's Administration Over Fake Agencies

Ali Ndume, the lawmaker representing Borno South Senatorial District, expressed concerns regarding the incompetence within President Bola Tinubu’s administration, which he believes has led to significant embarrassment for the presidency. His comments followed the discovery of fake agencies, including the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), operating within the presidency, as reported by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.

During an appearance on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Ndume stated that unless President Tinubu addresses the presence of these "kakistocrats," they will continue to undermine his administration. He noted that the existence of fake agencies is no longer a secret and emphasized that if capable individuals were in place, such issues would not arise.

Ndume also mentioned that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) had uncovered further irregularities, leading to the suspension of some Permanent Secretaries in the presidency, yet he criticized the President for not taking appropriate action.
