JIBWIS Cleric Dies After Kidnapping by Bandits in Kebbi

A cleric affiliated with JIBWIS was kidnapped by bandits in Kebbi, along with a friend who is a former chairman of the APC in Koko Bess Local Government Area. Reports indicated that the cleric's health condition deteriorated significantly while in captivity.

Police spokesperson Bashir Usman confirmed the cleric's death, which was reported by journalist Usman Awar. The family and friends of the cleric, including Usman Aliyu, made efforts to secure his release, which included attempts to meet the financial demands of the abductors.
