Kebbi State Nears Completion of 250 Housing Units

The Kebbi State Government is nearing completion of the 250 Kauran Gwandu Housing Units, with the project currently at 80% completion. Governor Nasir Idris assessed the construction site on Tuesday and expressed satisfaction with the quality of work performed by the contractor, urging others to follow suit.

He emphasized that the Kebbi State Government will not tolerate substandard work from any contractor involved in project execution. Governor Idris is confident that the housing units will be completed within the designated timeframe, allowing for timely allocation to residents.

Additionally, he mentioned that the current administration has purchased Federal Government Housing Units in Birnin Kebbi, with payments made and documents acquired. Plans are underway to award contracts for the completion of the estate, reflecting the administration's commitment to providing adequate and decent accommodation for the people of Kebbi.
